ugh, I simply hate Mental Hospitals! especially abandoned. they scare me greatly for some reason. :(

they scare me too, but that is why I am interested in them. In my opinion they have to be the scariest things you can go into. One last thing, the who did this has some big balls, because that place alledgely has Melvin Wilson, the guy who was the murderer of Anne Marie Davee, and according to legend is still alive in the mental hospital.

When I was 8, I went to an asylum this is back in 1971 with my parents to visit an aunt, when you walked in this feeling of dread came over you, you just wanted to leave, back then all it took was a family member to say you were crazy and they'd keep you aginst your will, there was no way out except by graveyard, I saw hell first hand, I still have nightmares to this day.

The place I was taken to had 4 floors below ground and these little cells, as we walked through they were trying to grab and pull you to them, they were the severe cases of mental illness, they were hosed down like animals by the guards, some were chained down in a day cage they had no clothes on and they would cry

help me, help me, being a child it frightend me.

A day cage is a flat cage the size of a small bed with no mattress, if that wasn't bad enough they used cattle prods to get them to move when they said so, they lingered in hallways and bathrooms and their rooms where they slept, there was no hope for them.

I look back now and my heart cries for all those poor souls who perished in these places.
