Please can someone tell me how i upgrade my 3.10oe-a to something higher? and what version should i be looking for. I tried putting the latest (401 i think) but it said i had to upgrade to 3.52 m33 or higher first. But im a complete noob with this stuff

As you just said, update to 3.52M33. You can find a complete update somewhere on some type of PSP forum. Afterwards, update to 5.00M33-3 and you get all the great goodies of the newest updte and the PSN now on the PSP.

that is very simple, you ran out of Memory in Flash0. Try using a much smaller 200-400kb Gameboot. i can be a 100%, but i believe you have that much space to change your gameboot with.

hmm, try reformatting your flash0 or recover to 1.50 then try doing it all from scratch. that should work.

well converse, a psp homebrew is a firmware that has not been made by sony, they may have other features but have a chance of breaking your psp when downloaded, your psp that you have purchased has come with an official firmware made by sony, mine is version 3.71

Bricking is when the PSP's OS(Operating System which is FLASH0 & FLASH1; E.G. 3.72 firmware)is corrupted and when turned on you only get a black screen. You can fixed that now with pandoras battery.

well, this was made when the cfw was 3.10 at the time. It works the same way for 3.40oe-a, BUt you need themes that will work for 3.30oe-a and up.

Correction, your gameboots can be as big as you want as long as you have space in Flash 0. All CFW have less than 300kb of free space in flash 0, but use Flash Agent to free up 2.5 mb of space and you get roughly 2.8 MB of space in flash 0.
