couple of things:

one, an easier way that isnt as good is to fly straight up and teleport the tree straight down (but the tree wont be as big :()

two, you can't mess this up (unless doing it this guys way witch is makes bigger trees)

three, this works on all plants (im not sure if he mentions that)

I found that glitch out a better way: Go up as far above the planet as possible without leaving the planet and beam it down. It will be MUCH bigger.

Easyer way: put an tree over another tree, than it grow up a lot, some plants get over the planet. Has 5% chance to the game saves the giant plants so when it happens u can see a giant trre in the space xD

I have the original version of spore, with no downloaded material, so the glitch could be well gone by now, but I made a planet stuffed with giant trees =P

This has more to do with the engine, I think. I think it is because when you use the tractor beam to send items down to the planet, the item increases in size gradually. So because there's something that stops it from moving, it increases in size, but does not move at all.

I did it not too long ago in different way with a creature and inflated it to GALACTIC size. I'm not joking had to kill it, couldn't see a thing!

I think the planet types vary from game to game, but I could be wrong. But yea, I don't see why I couldn't make one like that. I'll respond it to one of your videos when i do.

no, I recorded this video about 2 days after its release. I uploaded it much later though lol. I'm not sure if EA cured this glitch or not with patch 3, I'll have to double check.
