wonderful in it's simplicity. i recall this time so well -- i was in High School. Ah, how hopeful life felt (not to mention the crush on Stacy Dash). this song in particular -- along side MC Lyte's "Ice Cream Dream" -- stuck out to me.

I used to have it on CD, I'm salty that I can't find now. And, my oldest brother had the soundtrack on tape when this first came out. I love this song and soundtrack. This song goes along real well with the message and story of the movie. Great job by RT and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

"Money Can't Buy You Love" is one of Ralph Tresvant's best records. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis doesn't dissapoint with this wonderfully crafted record from the "Mo Money" soundtrack. This is why music from the 1990's was the best. Take your top 10 records recorded in 2010 alone and they pale in comparison to this record. This is how it's supposed to be done!

@GILLYHOM LOL.. dang, I hear ya dawg! I got 90's music in my soul! For me, this is the best decade of music history although I LOVE the last 40 years of the 1900's recorded music. The 90's just brought all those decades together and put the icing on the cake by the digital editing capabilities of computers. And NO AutoTune! There was serious talent in the 90's!
