@L0Iers Basketball is the easiest to me, but being good at any sport takes dedication, hard work, and practice. I don't think you can just naturally be good at something if you don't give it your all.
today. pros just flat out their racket and hit it. that technique saves more time and has more power compare to this.. haha. the trick is to use a c shape by not swinging the whole arm. just th half. that creates more topspin and you hit it at the top of the bonce. so the ball is directly pointing downwards. but the spin is still there. for the people who know what this is called. please respond. i use this technique but idk what it is called. haha
that means that you're looping your swing and not swinging through it, semi western is best because you can get alot of topspin on your groundstrokes and it's best to grip continental on your serve.
@pg232323 federer uses eastern grip because he always puts his index knuckle on the third bevel as well as his heel pad....as of 2005 it was proven that he uses a eastern grip and it's kinda obvious since he's an attacking type of player in tennis....only in certain ocasions does he switch to semi western and thats when he wants to put spin on his ball and go for a consistent rally to tire out the oppenent.
No you'll have an advantage if any. Always play the ball on to your opponents back hand as its much harder for them. For a leftie playin a rightie whos not used to playing lefties they'll have to change their mind set more to beat you. You'll have that advantage for the first few games anyway.
i dont know its up to how the player hits it, but i tend to "crouch" or like bend my knees and strike and i use an eastern/semi western kinda ( idk what grip im using but it suits me )
OK this was good. But do we want the finger to be aligned with the bevel? (meaning the index finger along with the base and the diagonal as you mentioned?

is tennis a good sport to learn for someone who is not that good in sports? if not wat is a sport that is easy for me to do?
L0Iers 1 year ago
@L0Iers no sport is easy you need to train/practice its not talent its practice
twisterspin24 1 year ago
@L0Iers You contradict yourself, if you're not good in sports you can't be good in any sport...
I know what you mean though, it seems so for me. I don't really do any sports but now I'm learning tennis and it's rather easy.

the grip that i use is the 3rd "bebble" or whatever you called it on my palm the same way you held bebble 4
my question: is my grip even an actual grip???
haha i dont think it is....but ive been using that grip since i first started and any other grip just feels unnatural haha
str8up10190 2 years ago
I think that is a modified eastern grip like the one federer uses.
venom400 2 years ago
3rd bevel grip is an eastern grip, not really used anymore, use the 4th bevel thats the best grip

federer uses eastern............

@ThaaWhiteShadow Nadal uses Eastern - he puts his hand even further round than a semi western grip , a western grip is flat

@pg232323 You're confused. You have Eastern and Western mixed up.

is there any kind of grip that is suitable for low ball?
cyq88 3 years ago
i dont know its up to how the player hits it, but i tend to "crouch" or like bend my knees and strike and i use an eastern/semi western kinda ( idk what grip im using but it suits me )
tenniswh0re 3 years ago
Semi-western or an extreme eastern/semi-western is probably the best. Federer uses it. But its more about racquet head accelaration
IricForset 3 years ago
eastern is the best for low balls.
venom400 2 years ago 2
and high, Federer use it on high balls also.
