Half and half. It's a complicated process as the logos and idents (as used in this clip) are copyright of 'TVS Television Ltd' - now a separate company. Corrie of course in this clip belonged to Granada which is now owned by ITV Studios.
I used to watch Corrie from this era back when Granada Plus used to be on air- they've have been showing these episodes around mid-2002. What strikes me is why those dated looking titles were still being used this late, as well as the fact that around this time there were still regular episodes that were entirely studio-bound, which is very odd at this point in time considering the other soaps.
Yes. Those titles are *so* alien to 1990, just a matter of weeks away from the World Cup without which there'd have been no Premier League, Britpop, classical crossover or (arguably) Coldplay. If memory serves they were replaced very soon afterwards, and not before time.
'Island Son' as I remember was one of the last regional variations in peak-time ITV.
I seem to recall the replacement was around November time. I remember there used to be a website listing the original air dates for the Granada Plus episodes.
Of course, Corrie's production standards were dated for years- they were still using film on location until 1988! Would have looked very dated compared to the other soaps which were all on video for years before this. It was only by the early 90s that they really caught up. I think they're quite hi-tech now though.
There's another scene of this episode with Mavis and Derek then it cuts off. I have another episode from 1996 (see clips on here) but that's it so far.

Think the rights for the TVS stuff belong with Disney...
