All these comments about "it's too hard to make money" need to stop. Making money on this game is easy as hell. Go to revs, you'll make tons of cash if you stay there consistently, and it takes no skill/risk. If you can, do bandos or frost dragons, excellent money there as well. If you don't have the level for them, train and go get them. But don't say "its too hard to make money so i bot" when you're being too lazy to level your own damn account.

As a bot developer I can tell you the changes to frost dragons is a simple fix, the bot will go to the spawn point of the bones and keep trying to pick it up even though it can't. It is literally one or two lines of code to fix this.

This frost update actually makes it worse for legit players, and gives the botters more advantages there! The animation for the aura thingy will be programmed within weeks at max, making the bots stop attacking when it appears. And why does it make it worse for legit players? Because we now have to watch carefully so that the auro doesnt come up and fuck us up while we're chatting, watching videos or listening to music! Fuck sake jagex, retards.

To all the "I want a life" people out there, you can have a life and play rs...I have fairly good stats on rs and also quite a bit of cash, and I play sports and participate in social events all the time. Just have patience, instead of 7 hours of gametime a day, how about 1 hour a day for a week. Same playing time, more life. =)
Botting is only an issue when it begins to effect the entire economy of RS, like it has. Now botting something like Agility or High Alching, is one thing, but even mining and fishing, the noobs that come to this came have to have their fair chance at making some cash too, i remember at Lvl 3 my friend had 100k, and I thought he was Bill gates on rs, now, I'm lvl 134, make commentaries, and 100k doesn't even pay for my pking pots. LOL. Totally went off topic there..
the only problem i have with bots is since there are so many of them, the servers are overcrowded. i personally have next to no lag when the bot servers are offline and there are only 80,000-100,000 players online. when they're online and there are 200,000-300,000 players i lag every 10 seconds and it makes the playing experience shit really.
The botters don't care. Its just a game, games are only fun if people play them fairly. I find it odd how so many botters are self-riteous, saying they "have a life". Training nonprofit boring things such as combat, agility, or things that lose you money such as prayer/construction/or herblore isn't really a big deal.
heres my take on it, goldfarmbots = green drag, frost drag, looter, money making skilling ect, dropped the price of rsgp irl, to sell 1m last year it was 1$, 6 months ago it was about 60 cents, currently its 34-35 cents, the price drops more and more, when this value for rsgp irl, hits 0, bots have no reason to do this anymore, they havent got anything to bot for, cause they make no reveneue outside of the game, idk if thats what is correct, because there is no "correct" answer, my take on this.
The movement is great. The update, fucking horrible. Now when you go in there are multiple dungeons you can be put in. Now there are more frost dragons, thus bringing in more bones. It might seem like there are less bots but they're just in different dungeons. Bots kill the dragons too fast with a dragon for it to even hurt them a little.
I've been botting 16 99s, i don't know why you legiters get mad, im not ruining the game, im not making 100 accounts to kill frosts, its just one account, for my own good. nigga.

@themaxruler I was at slayer for a year or more. got to level 96 taking it slow and steady, made only 110m got some decent gear and then got hacked for all of it. thanks Swiftkit. Thats what caused me to quit after all, making stuff worth 50m now, at 400k a drop... it'd be a very slow and tedious process. stuff it.

@bonelessseal hey im not max but uhm yea there need to be harsher penalties on botters.
e.g ip ban for repeat offenders and total removal of botted accounts (cleaned of stats / history)
I too (as a botter) support this effort and more of it, however it's currently powerless to stop botting (which means they'll need to keep this up constantly updating so that bots cannot be lax thus disenfranchising the average botter who just wants to get an easy boost to their gameplay )

As a bot developer I can tell you the changes to frost dragons is a simple fix, the bot will go to the spawn point of the bones and keep trying to pick it up even though it can't. It is literally one or two lines of code to fix this.

If you got hacked would you really be bothered to go through all the effort you went through the first time but in a weakened economy where all your drops were crappy. I am not suggesting buying from gold farmers, they're all probably Simalian pirates but prehaps Jagex would be considerate enough to let you buy back items from them lost through no fault of your own.?

Botters are fine. For skills like attack, str, def, etc. But botting things that make money, i dont support. Neither do i support gold farmers. (the green dragon killers arnt real peoples accounts, there accounts trained to bot dragons) i dont support that either.

This frost update actually makes it worse for legit players, and gives the botters more advantages there! The animation for the aura thingy will be programmed within weeks at max, making the bots stop attacking when it appears. And why does it make it worse for legit players? Because we now have to watch carefully so that the auro doesnt come up and fuck us up while we're chatting, watching videos or listening to music! Fuck sake jagex, retards.

To all the "I want a life" people out there, you can have a life and play rs...I have fairly good stats on rs and also quite a bit of cash, and I play sports and participate in social events all the time. Just have patience, instead of 7 hours of gametime a day, how about 1 hour a day for a week. Same playing time, more life. =)

Botting is only an issue when it begins to effect the entire economy of RS, like it has. Now botting something like Agility or High Alching, is one thing, but even mining and fishing, the noobs that come to this came have to have their fair chance at making some cash too, i remember at Lvl 3 my friend had 100k, and I thought he was Bill gates on rs, now, I'm lvl 134, make commentaries, and 100k doesn't even pay for my pking pots. LOL. Totally went off topic there..

the only problem i have with bots is since there are so many of them, the servers are overcrowded. i personally have next to no lag when the bot servers are offline and there are only 80,000-100,000 players online. when they're online and there are 200,000-300,000 players i lag every 10 seconds and it makes the playing experience shit really.

heres my take on it, goldfarmbots = green drag, frost drag, looter, money making skilling ect, dropped the price of rsgp irl, to sell 1m last year it was 1$, 6 months ago it was about 60 cents, currently its 34-35 cents, the price drops more and more, when this value for rsgp irl, hits 0, bots have no reason to do this anymore, they havent got anything to bot for, cause they make no reveneue outside of the game, idk if thats what is correct, because there is no "correct" answer, my take on this.

The movement is great. The update, fucking horrible. Now when you go in there are multiple dungeons you can be put in. Now there are more frost dragons, thus bringing in more bones. It might seem like there are less bots but they're just in different dungeons. Bots kill the dragons too fast with a dragon for it to even hurt them a little.
