I think there's just way too many little kids that think every game must have it's own special peripheral to be fun. My C64 had a 1 button joystick and I loved it!

ADVICE:

if you get the demo or actual game. make sure you select a comfortable control settings. Personally the default is nice to use but when it comes to pressing Triangle and Circle at the same time and moving the same thumb around gets difficult, confusing and uncomfortable. i suggest using other settings or making your custom settings.

just got the game while ago, i love this game. just hate how theres no "career option" to play just one instrument. there is though on quickplay. the shifting of instruments makes this more like a fun music game than a serious rhythm game. love that it has career mode where you create your own band, buy them gear and instruments with the money you earn. its nice. now i can leave my wii whenever i head out. hehe.. gotta go, im gonna play some more!!

I guess it's down to personal preference but for DLC, gameplay and online Rock Band beats GH at every single one. I mean with GH band quickplay requires a full band and you never get a full band online! Now lets discuss the RB download libary which is cheaper and significantly larger. I would also say that the songs themselve are charted much better too! Just check out Story of my life on RB next to the GH3 version!
