BMW in my opinion are over-priced mass produced junk. They make 1.8 MILLION of their SUVS yearly. That is JUST SUV's. 1.8 MILLION. Porsche only produces about 15K or so of each model. Based on exclusivity alone Porsche is the better car.

all due respect, porsche is a 0-60 car. Many have AWD and turbo, most are rear engine which gives great launch traction as well. I'm a huge bmw fan, especially of their natually aspirated engines, and I'm not sure any company can easily trump bmw. However, if there is one company that can, its probably porsche on the 6cyls. They use a bigger block but they do have some truly amazing output. Honda, BMW, and Porsche make some of the best production sport engines you can buy.

I love th M6 and it has a great engine. You can't deny the amazing flat 6 Porsche has though. New 911 turbo has 500 hp, more torque than the M6 and far better fuel economy. It's a fantastic car. But if you want, you can just say it has big advantages over the Ms and it's not fair how great the 911 is ;) 5.0 vs 3.6.
