  • There's no telling where Beck will go from here on his next album, he has many avenues to decide upon, folk or rock or techno you name it.

  • the only song i like becks version better is garbage truck. i think mark webbers voice futs the movie better and it just has a better distortion sound to it

  • Wow, contradicting comments about artists - that's a rare find on a good song.

  • still not sure what i like more beck or the sex bob-omb version :|

  • ZEKE AND LUTHER NOT IS SUMMERTIME????

  • Beck sucks.

  • @BloodLift15

    without beck...

you wouldnt have the sex bob omb songs...

you still agree with what you said asshole...

  • @Shashrat no i meant beck sucks at singing my bad.

  • @BloodLift15

    ah...

  • @BloodLift15 No. No, he does not.

  • Isn't that bad

  • the beck version sucks

  • Don't mislead people to find an incorrect album, it's called Sea Change!!!

  • @gueralita That would be legendary...

  • It doesn't show, but I'm seriously a diehard beck fan 8D

  • @xshabootiex Me too :D

  • I heard this in Gamestation (UK GameStop)the other day and now I'm hooked on it :D

  • man i fkn LOVE the lead guitar riff in this song

  • i like becks version way better...so original, he sounds better on this imo.

  • Look at My Channel.

There Is The Beginning Song from Scott Pilgrim Movie. :)

  • beck is awesome

  • I like Stephen WAY more but without Beck A LOT of songs wouldn't be in the movie, definitely gotta give em' some cred!

  • I prefer Beck to Stephen Stills.

While Stephen's voice fits the in-movie band (not being over-the-top at all fits Sex Bob-Omb perfectly), I just think Beck's voice fits the song more.

  • @noseman123 I prefer Stephen, because most of Becks songs are harder to hear what he actually says lol.

  • The return of Stereopathetic Soulmanure?

    Yesssss...

  • Especially on this song, the Beck version is just better. I have nothing against Sex-Bob-Omb, I just prefer the Beck versions.

  • Scott Pilgrim drove me into listening to this song.

  • I respect Beck for writing these songs, because I love the lyrics so much. But Sex Bob-omb version sounds so much better.

  • Hmm Beck made this song originally? NICE. :3 *fan*

  • Can't fuckn believe it. There is always one fagg who always has to dislike something good.

  • @Aplocalypse Waa Waa not everyone in the world likes what I like. grow up.

  • Sounds like schmoozer an early Beck song :D

  • Lesbians this song

  • que onde guerooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?

  • Good To Hear Beck Doing Something Different Than "The Record Club"

  • @rilaroothesailor Yeh, i'm kinda sick of it...

  • @Omie789 yup, ~peace~

  • not to be a downer but i think Sex Bob-Omb's version is WAAAY better then this one.

  • gotta say... this version IS better ;)

  • i like sex bob-ombs version better

  • It's cool to hear some new stuff from beck.

  • I WISH IT WAS LONGER ARGKLHSGKLSHGKLH!

  • I actually like Stephen Stills more than Beck in these songs.

  • @Roybertito yeah theyre both good and different. i felt the same way until i started to feel beck's vocal style more

  • @Roybertito The Clash at Demonhead's Black Sheep also sounds better than the original by Metric hey

But I don't suppose we can get the full songs by the film's bands, oh wellz!

  • @Roybertito I love 'em both. Except for the chorus, that goes to "the talent".

  • @Roybertito I definitely agree. The actors actually played their instruments in the movie, and his actor had the hardest part. Lead vocals and lead guitar (at the same time) is not easy. Not only that, but Michael Cera played bass before this movie, so he knew what he was doing.

  • @PAMuffinMan he also plays guitar, He plays w/ Juno(e.Page)They did a great cover from Moldy Peaches

  • @Roybertito Dude normally I would say thats sacrilegious, but there is something about the way the cast sings the songs that sound dirtier or something(I also prefer the way Envy sings Black Sheep)and I have loved Beck since One foot in the grave(first album)Stephen just got a good Beck song voice.

  • @Roybertito

    ehhhh no

  • is it me or does this version sound completley different from the one that plays once the credits hit.

  • @AX7ROH It should, because it is different. This has Beck singing whereas the movie has Mark Webber (as Stephen Stills) singing.

  • @scarryterry Ok thanks for the clarafication

  • Scott Pilgrim <33

    Beck <333

  • @RyanStewartLenn0n It's just "sea change" not "sea of change"... but apart from that mistake, you are very correct. That album is brilliant. :)

  • @RyanStewartLenn0n that is true these songs dont show beck as in depth as he really is hes one of my favorite artists

  • @RyanStewartLenn0n I don't need to point out the mistake because others did already and I know Sea Change is a great album but I honestly think I prefer his more psychedelic music like Midnight Vultures or The Information. I think I prefer crazy artsy side over his softer side just cause I don't enjoy country influenced music all too much, and it really is a lot better than whatever's in this video.

  • @RyanStewartLenn0n I'd say listen to odelay, guero, and mellow gold those are my personal favorites

  • @RyanStewartLenn0n Sea Change, not Sea OF Change... :P

    But yeah, I agree.

  • @RyanStewartLenn0n noob, sea change

  • I am proud to say I have the soundtrack and I am a huge fan of Beck. "Were its at"
