It's of topic but i have a tech question about the td9 module, i have the td9 my self and my question is about the ride cymbol. To play the bell on the cymbol i have to hit it hard to trigger it, now i have seen in your vids that you don't have to hit it very hard to trigger the bell.
Yes, you do have to hit the ride bell quite hard to get it to trigger. This isn't something you can adjust on the module. It's part of the CY-120R/C design. I modified the bell sensor to make it more sensitive. The modification is quite simple... but it will invalidate the warranty. I recommend you join the unofficial V-Drums forums and search for the modification details. It's been quite well documented.
You are so super relaxed Man. . I love it. . I will study and maybe learn a few of your trix. . I learned to play drums for a long time ago, and it was just the basic. . But I seem to pick up more and more of the tricky bits this last year. . Much thanks to this great place. . For example the Rosanna beat. .
yea it does thank u....also i guess it would be more realistic to have an Electric drum set if u have lots of people in ur house that don't like loud noises 4 a long period of time :)
Definitely! Or neighbours in my case! I bought the TD-9KX to practice and record with... and it's been brilliant for that. Prior to that, I used to do that with my acoustic kit. Naturally, my neighbours wanted me assassinated...
Interesting question! Personally, I don't think of one being better than the other, as I use both! I think the comparison between an electronic drum kit and an acoustic (normal) one is like comparing an electric guitar to a classical one... or a synthesizer to an acoustic piano. They're related to each other... and each exists as an 'alternative' instrument in its own right, rather than a 'replacement'.
Nice :) Some here might be a little Dave Weckl inspired ?? ;-)

Great song selection and stylistic playing. I've always wanted a Roland, they sound so great and follow dynamic and style well.
