When the students of Tiananmen square protested against China's government, EU enforced an arms embargo against China. To this day, EU doesn't sell arms to Taiwan because of Tiananmen Square. The students of Peiking University should be considered as Taiwan's heros. Otherwise the arms embargo on China would've never been enforced which means that China would have more advanced weapons.
