I was there that day visiting the school. Those children participated in writing the song, arranging the dance moves, and really knew the information behind it all.  They could debate politics better than most talking heads on tv. The visit was arranged the same day that he arrived, not months ahead as someone suggested. TI was impressed with what the children had done and talked about how important education is and that they should avoid the mistakes he had made in life.

iraqi war was one of the issues. and they talked about renewable energy sources. oprah gave them money to better the academy that they attend. this is great despite what some say. it's great to see kids try to be interested in something that money, TV, and video games. this is what the world needs to reach kids in the education system these days. im proud.

To see these young kids perform this is something nothing short of phenomenal. I was real proud to see T.I. come to the school and just give the kids some love and encouragement. I just discovered this song tonight; didn't know nothing about it. but I am real proud of those young kids; to see them spouting off the issues the candidates were talking about was amazing. beautiful.
