Odessa Intro's melody sounds a lot like "Marching On a Dead End Road" by Arch Enemy while the lead sounds like part of the end solo for "Dead Eyes See No Future" by the same band. O.o
Hmm.. never heard of Arch Enemy. I'll go listen right now...
Ha. you're right about the first one. They do sound similar. We're in the same scale. Don't worry, this video features my crappy songs that will most likely see the light of day.
this stuff all sounds great. ive thought of my own stuff, but ive only constructed one song realy. but its a good thing becuz my cuz wants to put me on his album instead of using a keyboard. anyways, cant wait to hear more.
Damn man, its the same way here in Colorado... There aint that great music talent. But Im sure you'll eventually find a band that meets up with your talent and style. Especially now that you got some originals up.
Anyways, just about every song in that video was great. You defenitely got some good stuff. Ive seen bout all ur guitar cover vids and in my opinion, your defenitely on your way to getin somewhere.
But Finish up those songs lol, Ima be lookin forward to it.
dude these are really good. dont feel discouraged either. i have a similar situation where i live, and i know it can be frustrating. but dont base recording on whether or not you feel other people will love it or hate it. you've obviously put in a lot of work here, and you owe it to yourself to record and do your work some justice. good luck man.
damn there were like a ton of stuff i really liked. you shouldnt feel discouraged with this kinda material since its really good. i cant wait to hear more

I totally understand what you mean man. My band is one of the few in this area that isn't some generic pop punk thing.
I wish I could write stuff like this.
Best of luck to you.

What do you use to record your audio?
Shadowtjestalker 2 years ago
(Guitar) > M-Audio MobilePre > Guitar Rig (about 28 custom effect setups per guitar)

bridge those together and make a song

Sweet! You can hear a little Human Abstract influence in the heavier stuff and some of the intros. The acoustic and blues stuff was awesome, too.
