I am amazed that some people actually think this is fake because it was used in a movie. Like...really? Google it. The whole reason it was so amazing is BECAUSE there's no snow in Jamaica. Look at the freaking stats on the screen for MPH and timing. You really gonna sit there and tel me that it's fake? I watched this, IRL, on the olympics. I saw it happen. Just cause you're a little kid who wasn't old enough to see it for real and only know of a freaking Disney movie, doesn't make it untrue.

@juansadaza If by technical issue you mean a defect in the bobsled then no. Officially, they just lost control on that sharp angled turn and the bobsled turned over. That's not to say it was necessarily driver's inexperience. With a turn that sharp, it could happen to anyone. In fact, they removed that sharp turn in future Olympic events if I remember correctly.

Indeed, I remember watching this as a 10 year old kid. Why i watched bobsleigh at such age? Because latvians took gold in 2s and bronz in 4s as USSR team. Everyone in Latvia was watching that.
