I actually discovered the youtube community through my girlfriend who first showed me spricket24, and she inspired me to start making my own videos... then i discovered dan brown pogobat, and through him discovered the vlogbrothers... didnt actually discover wheeywaiter till like a year later, despite him being my biggest influence... cwazy... anywhoo, glad your back!

Isn't there a part of the story where you broke into video making by imitating Jerry H Cooke after he mentioned he was sad no one every imitated him?

I actually discovered John and Hank pretty much exactly the same way you did. Wizard Rock in late 2007, then Lauren (her video of them singing 99 Death Eaters at Phoenix Rising was one of the first wrock videos I watched), and then the 5AG, and from there vlogbrothers.
