The Super 80 will remain in the American Fleet until 2024, when the leases expire, so it aint going anyplace. I was at DFW just today and saw nothing but 757's and Super 80s, only 2 737-800s.
Understanding the taxiway's yellow coloured line have different distance because i see some have 2 line across like a T junction i want to know what is those lines for?
I just flew in on Aug 3rd on American Airlines flight 303 from New York LGA-ORD Chicago and it continues on to SAN San Diego
amd from ORD-SAN it is actually 4 hours and some odd minutes and the AA MD-83 ex. TWA had to fly that long I saw on the flight info. at gate K9 at O'Hare
@cwastudent ..I was curious what you as pilots think about the airplanes spraying Geo engineered chem trails into are sky's? now whether u believe our not i know you have noticed the planes spraying white chem trails daily ,,there are alarming rates of aluminum and barium being found in our trees and water... again i ask what is your opinion and do any of you pilots have anymore info on were they r landing and taking well we have questions!!!!!!!!!!
Funny how the aerobridge goes straight on before the Captain's even turned off the red beacon and powered down his engines. You'd get your eyelids peeled off if you did that in Australia.
i know!! that'd be a nightmare ... especially for us (well poor people like me anyways :D) in economy class! they won't let us off until all the others get off ... and that'd be like half an hour after getting at the gate :P

No an S80 is an MD-80. The one one lyife is referring to is the MD83 which can make 3 hour flights.
