  • The st3kr is the civilian pt22. Same plane

  • about being scared to get air lifted: What are the odds you go through two in one day? Id tell the chopper pilot to do a little NOE.

  • It is a ryan PT-22

  • Pilot stalled the plane, twice! It was a Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR

  • I thought Lincoln died at a theater.

  • piper cub?

  • @mclovin12q It looks like an AT-6 Texan

  • My dad works there, Tony Lattuca

  • stearman shouldent have a ppl without fear, a healthy amount of fear keeps you safe

  • Could get killed in a crosswalk too.

  • died mate !

  • i love how when people get into plane accidents, they usually get air lifted to a hospital

u think the first thing they want to do is get back in an aircraft????

i know it may be nessicary but definitly would not want to overcome my flying fear, get in a plane, crash, then get in a helicopter

i know this is an airshow but it is the same with passenger flights

  • Allright, then take you chances on the road where it will take you a lot more time to get to the hospital. And that trip could turn out to be fatal. Its not about whats best for your flying fear, but more about getting you to the hospital and a speeding recovery...

  • very true

    its not waht u want

its what has to be done

  • surprisingly it has happened that after a plane crash patient is medevac-ed the helicopter crashes

  • You don't have fear with a PPL

  • Saturday, June 19, 2004 in Lincoln, CA. Aircraft: Fairchild 24R-40,registration: N232E

    Injuries: 1 Uninjured.

The airplane ground looped while on the landing roll. The pilot was attempting a three-point landing with full flaps. Upon touchdown, the airplane encountered a gust of wind. As the airplane continued down the runway, the right main gear separated, which resulted in the propeller blades and left main gear simultaneously breaking away. The airplane ground looped, turning 180 degrees.

  • Thats a Ryan PT-22 Recruit, not a Fairchild

  • yes it is , my father flown 1 in germany we had a engine fuck up(come's very often in kinner engine's) Now we work on the rest parts to bring it up again

  • Its a dam shame when someone crasher a classic. When the last flying De havilland Mosquito crashed i was so pissed of. This was many years back

  • Well no longer reason to be pissed, two Mossies are now in the final stages of being rebuilt to flying condition. One in NZ, one in Canada, both will be FB marks. Look at last months Flypast for info.. Can't wait to see them both flying!!!

  • Are you serious?! I had no idea. Thats awesome! Cant whait. Thanx.

  • Could be worse. It could be in a museum. Nothing makes me more sad than to see such great airplanes mothballed like a stuffed animal. These things should be flying.

  • aerial acrobatics can simply be reduced to aerobatics...

  • hehe you might want to reword your description.

-The pilot was taken by air ambulance to the hospital "BUT" was okay.

  • It is worded proper. The word you think should be changed is actually spelled butt.

  • hmm i thought it was.

  • Haha, Exactly .... someone was hopin otherwise, i guess ;3P

  • is that lincoln Nebraska or california

  • glad he survived, that plane looks a mess

  • OMG! this is a Ryan PT-22 i have one ,too!the once in germany .Omg its terible for me....

    :-(

  • i hope he survived.

  • luckely he did survive

  • dan dude was too oid out gas look bust down

    maybe can keeping engine

  • what province are you from my friend, i dont understand your dialect.

  • ask him if "speaking as an outsider what are his opinions of the human race "
