All brothers whom didnt know, This is Salat Istisqua (is-tis-qua) which means pray for rain. 7 Takbirah in first rakaah, and 5 in next rakaah. As same as Salat the two Eids.

i agree emirates, he was one of the reasons of why my wife converted to islam even though she doesn't speak arabic :) she heard him and she cried and then few months later she converted and she love to hear him reciting and i do too as well . he is the best reciter in the world and i hope he is the imam in this next coming ramadan

imam say Allah o Akbar many time because this is the Aidilfitri pray after 1 month fasting muslim celebrate start with this pray first rakaat in pray imam will say Allah o Akbar 7 times(not include takbir) the second rakaat imam will say Allah o Akbar 5 times... may this answer your question..Assalamuailakum.. bye

After an imam recites surah fatiha, does he himself say ameen? Cause here in Canada I havent heard of this but sometimes in Mecca this happens (Ali Jabir didn't say it in this video)

Yeah he can say it out loud or himself. In Hamilton our Mosque he says it out loud.

hadith is in nisa'i and hakim and sahih

ask tajweed teacher so you know how to say the right ameen =) always say it with the intention of get ur past sins forgiven
