A great movie. But it cant be compared to any transformer movie. Them movies were designed for very young audiences. D9 was definitely adult oriented and too deep for kids. Whenever you hear someone say transformers was better, it only gives away that persons age lol.

Hey, great review. You get it! Yes this was a very good movie. It wasnt the typical conventional clicheed action movie crap. And for you to get that as a teenage dude. I have to give you some credit for that. I wanted to see it as soon as the ads for it came out on TV and i wasnt disappointed.

District 9 was brilliant. So far the best film of 2009. Sharlto Copley killed as the lead. It is so refreshing to see a scifi-action movie that doesn't cater to the simple minded. In terms of originality, writing and over all visual texture District 9 is the best scifi-action movie since the Matrix(I know "Children Of Men" 2006 was good but it action was segmented.) I loved the social

message with in the story, it worked inconspicuous to move the plot along plot. Just a good damn movie.

the movie was amazing! but the metaphor wasnt so much racism as it was the south african apartheid movement which was led by nelson mandela. you should do some research on that to really see how brilliant it was paralleled.

I agree that the movie was amazing. 10/10 and a great review once again.

Don't see this movie with friends unless they like these kinds of movies. My friend slept and thought it sucked the big ones. I found it hard to watch sometimes because he would laugh at unnecessary times. I will watch this again alone when it releases on DVD and will definitely love it more.

good review, I was definitely looking forward to this movie due to the fact that peter jackson produced it. and like the first half an hour was rlly funny and most the words used are the f and s word. this movie deserves an award..probly will get many. delivered a great message, the acting was good sometimes hard to understand what wikus was saying though, I liked the military redneck dudes they were the villians and whatnot.
