  • it would appear that Steve Bishop doesn't know his left from his right.

  • This is a fantastic video for learning a powerful golf techniques. Interestingly, hypnosis can also be used in combination to tie these techniques into your muscle-memory to make these techniques automatic and natural.

  • @MarkRobertsHypnosis It's all mental.

  • One thing evryone should remember is a pendilum motion the same distance back as forward. That goes for putting too

  • @chrismoss420 I disagree. This idea tends to lead to people not following through enough. A shorter backswing with a emphasized follow through makes a consistently clean strike and actually helps improve feel for speed and distance. You essentially use a persons maximum effort instead of allowing them to vary the effort they swing the club.

  • @RingerDaMan yep, same for putting

it also depends how your lie is (chipping)

if your lie is bad (rough) you need to accelerate in order to keep your intended speed throughout impact

if your lie is better you can more and more narrow your shot to pendilum

  • BORING

  • steve thanks for all the instructions i love your videos and sorry about all the ignorant people that can't just watch an instructional video and if they don't like it leave the page keep putting them out and ill keep improving.... you da man.

  • is this a lesson on how to be a boring tw@T ?

  • Great tips. The secret tool for golfers to take their game to the next level is the Powerball.

  • nice little tip Steve and who really cares whats right or left we get the jist

  • Pretty sure he is talkin to 10 + handicapprs...this is more basic...any true ten handicapper or better is working on more meticullous swing mechanics than this

  • he meant our left duh?

  • Hey has anyone noticed the amount of people who are basically oxygen thieves that post below good people trying to share info with the world, It never ceases to amaze me the number of losers who add what they erroneously think are smart comments, none of these people ( and I use the term loosely) will never contribute one useful thing to anything,

  • classicalgas: "none" will "never"? Welcome to the club.

  • 1:11

  • @373teddy lol

  • Right ear @1:11 - RIGHT EAR!

  • lol i noticed that right away too

  • lol

  • shit kridian 09...he was just joking ur such a little fag

  • Oh get over it. Obviously he was a little quick with that so he got it wrong. Look at the whole deliverance of this lesson.

  • i think when he points to his right ear instead of left is to just show left to us?? idk lol

  • He says left ear and points to his right ear? Ummmm waz up wit dat ?

  • your kidding yourself .

  • But can he hit a flop shot?? Its very similar to hitting a bunker shot :)

    golfinstructionsonline .blogspot . com

  • I find it hard to take tips from someone who doesn't know his left from right...

  • Very good fundementals explained very well. Good tips!

  • "gobshite" lol what is that......

  • I really improved my chipping because i tend to slow down on the downswing so after tht tip ive been constantly landing on the green thanks

  • why is your left ear on the right side of your head?

  • choppy swing but it works for him

  • tar for the tips

  • Thanks for the tips...

  • Would you setup the same way for a 120 yard shot with a pitching wedge? I have trouble hitting 100 yd shots with p-wedge. Any setup tips you have would be great. Thanks

  • 120 yards should be a full swing. Sometimes I open the stance up a bit and line my feet a bit to the left. It would take a rather lengthy explanation as to why, but you should still try to swing from the inside.

  • thanks man.

  • @olivershoe line the ball in mid - back of your stance keep your head down and give it a full swing. Just make sure you stay over the ball. If you come out of it too early you will hit it thin

  • Tried your blockage idea. Definitely improving but gone through 6 bags and two dining room chairs so far!!!!!! Scot

  • lol

  • Did he call his right ear his left?

  • I have that problem, taking a big back swing, I just started golfing last year, so this is a great and easy tip, thanks! Ill try the bag blockade too.

  • shut up and golf

  • The golf bag blockade is a terrific idea! Nice job Steve.

  • i agree that acceleration trough the ball is a must to hit it well
