  • Hi man, i'm afrom brazil, and i'm trying to make a cajon(dual-chamber) like yours.

Could you tell me the size of your cajon(dual-chamber) holes?

  • Wow, this cajon is great! I love it. I made my own snare cajon and it sounds cool but this one has real good tone. Mine has pretty good tone. I'll have to post a video so you can check it out. Wow, great job!!! What kind of wood did you use? I like the sound of birch. Whatever you used, I like the sound of that, also.

  • This drum is made of 3/4" poplar, with an 1/8" birch head. Thanks!

  • hey, I'm trying to make my own, is there anything on the inside??

  • there's nothing magic inside, but there is a baffle that splits the volume of the drum, allowing for the two different tones. the baffle is the same material as the body of the drum.

  • check the outsidetheboxdrums site for help/advice on how to build one yourself
