Wow, this cajon is great! I love it. I made my own snare cajon and it sounds cool but this one has real good tone. Mine has pretty good tone. I'll have to post a video so you can check it out. Wow, great job!!! What kind of wood did you use? I like the sound of birch. Whatever you used, I like the sound of that, also.
there's nothing magic inside, but there is a baffle that splits the volume of the drum, allowing for the two different tones. the baffle is the same material as the body of the drum.

This drum is made of 3/4" poplar, with an 1/8" birch head. Thanks!
