Fantastic! Sometimes i fell so ridiculously bad when i see kids from that age playing so great when im 20 something working hard to achieve some notes on the trumpet! this 1st trumpet is screaming on the trumpet! wish i could reach some high notes like this!
@wilm923 El Dorado chooses not to go to Essentially Ellington. So saying Garfield's better because they attend a jazz festival that Eldo consciously decides not to go to when Eldo was hand picked to play at the hollywood bowl with Marcus Miller, Esperanza Spalding, Kurt Elling, Trombone Shorty and the Chick Corea Freedom Band, is stupid. Seriously, Garfield's amazing, but it's hard to like them when guys like you spam other schools' videos about how great they are.

practice practice practice. everybody in the jazz ensemble WANTS to be there and practices their asses off every day. section leaders and upperclassmen always set the bar high so that the underclassmen will practice extra hard to take over when the juniors and seniors have left. pretty much every sax player strives to play as well as this section and the the section before it. same with the trombones, trumpets and rhythm. everyone wants to be as great as the guys before them
Outstanding player.I played trumpet for approx. 16 years,and I know talent when I hear it.Unusual for one that young to be actually interesting to listen to.
the trumpet player does kinda suck but I think it is funny that people like "Luis6311" would say "Ya HE Does Suck Give Me The Part and i'll school him ne day And i go to a school Where We dont get money for instruments Check My Videos" he doesnt even have any videos.....
Me too, I have worked my rear end off for three months making minimum wage, just to buy a new conn tenor saxophone, (1930's),) and I am sure there area a lot of other peoplethat I can play better then, but that doesn't mean that they suck, and that doesn't mean that I become prideful and rub it around that I am better! I am sure that the students at this school are pretty well enjoting what they do, and if they are, I am enjoying their vids.

I went to ELDO a year ago, People: Awesome, Classes: Weird, Teachers: Shitty.
Then I went to UM, People: Shitty, Classes: Cool, Teacher's Shitty.
Now I'm Homeschooled, the Music program is WAY better than any other high school I ever went to...
