  • MY HS HAS THE 4040 AND THEY USE CODE 3.

  • @FEDERALSIGNALTECH They must have a DC-AC converter in between the panel and the horns, but it'll still do the job.

  • The 4040 is overall a different horn than the 4050, i used to have both before i quit

  • thats so intresting. i never knew there was a name for when it goes off in 3s... i believe you said temporal. i always figured when my school used that for a tornado drill the pricnipal or someone was setting it off manually. just for my own curiosity, why do they call these horns when they make buzzer noises?
