he pretty much only plays whistles now, I haven't seen him play a flute in a good few years. he is currently recording a new album (to be released 1st quarter of next year), and I think he is playing whistles only on it (although he is recording with various artists for the upcoming album, so lots of other instruments will be used!)

The fiddle/viola player is Nollaig Ni Cathasaigh and not Maire Breatnach. Thanks for posting, it's a great tune.

I didn't know there was video of this! The recording that was released as _Donal Lunny_ is one of my all-time favorite records.
