I truly do not wish to be bashed for supposedly "not understanding" music, but I believe this piece is beautiful. I may not have twenty years of training and a bountiful quantity of experience in the study of music itself, but I've surely had a lifetime of experience as a listener. I don't actually enjoy the other touches of instruments added in, but the piece itself is quite appealing. Regardless of music theory and composition, it's music to my ears, and that is all that should count.
