Many women have done home water births and had healthy babies, why do you care if they're born in water that may or may not have poop in it? There's poop in every public pool you've ever swam in too.
In countries like Japan the majority of babies are born at home. If you are healthy fit, have good living conditions, the changes of something going wrong as VERY slim. It's only nessecary to go to a hospital if you have gestational diabetes or something else that makes your pregnancy high risk.

Many women have done home water births and had healthy babies, why do you care if they're born in water that may or may not have poop in it? There's poop in every public pool you've ever swam in too.

In countries like Japan the majority of babies are born at home. If you are healthy fit, have good living conditions, the changes of something going wrong as VERY slim. It's only nessecary to go to a hospital if you have gestational diabetes or something else that makes your pregnancy high risk.

Labour was about 6 hours, more or less. Last 2 hours pretty hard going...
any tips? Uhm.... surrender to the force of labour and drink plenty of water with ice. At least, that helped me.
