Dude, that is so awesome, simply bad ass. I have a 99 Mercury Mountaineer, its perfect, not a lever busted, not a scratch, not a bulb with issues this thing is perfect for being 2011. I have the V8 302, my problem is it has a tow package and I think the tranny is programmed to shift a certain way, I try to stomp the gas and the tranny seems to slip into second, then I ask my friend a Certified Ford Dealership Mechanic and he told me its programmed that way. Is this true? I want to race into 2nd

The same engine in this Mountaineer, is the same 302 from the Mustang. And the same things you can do to a mustang, you can do it to a mountaineer with a V8! Plus this is different, and you don't see too many people doing unique things like this!

who gives a shit, i have a merc mountain and it sweet as hell, kick ass stock stereo, has the nuts under the hood for a stock motor, the video is sweet as hell. i use mine for off road for mountain biking, hiking, hunting and ive gotten in more places most stock 4 wheel drives cant get to. i would love to have that motor under my hood.

Right now I'm looking at the kit to convert so I can fit a 5.0 in it. I've still got to find a good tranny to fit the motor, but thats not a problem. When its done, I'll be posting some id of it :)

This isn't my truck, but I do own a explorer. Go to explorer express just to know what you need, they cost way too much. Remember 5.0, and the 4.0L think mustang. I hear better mpg, looks pretty reliable, you saw the video.
