nice, but arent you afraid you would hit something hard like a rock or something??? i never dare to drive that fast with mine, on the other hand i drive too slow at times lol
Those chains are just a singin! Brings back memories. Good advice about the chain tension. Those suckers come loose and you can also lose brake lines, fuel lines and more - and now some of the new CATs have those poly tanks on top of the chain cases - I'm just waiting for one of ours to tear up a fuel tank....
Thanks for posting this. Try to rig up some sort of camera mount so it's smoother and you can hang on with both hands - lol. TFS it was an awesome ride!
dont know 'bout it being the fastest grader the 160h i plowed with would do 20 with all the gear down, sorta crazy, molboard hits a high spot it could spit you off the road before you could slow down . Casr arent the only thing that could do a side ways drift
i drive an international 5200 with a 345 hp engine it hauls ass too i have a double wing plow on it on on either side with a 13ft plow in the front it is 3-4 ft high
I run a new 672 with a Henke wing and Henke front 6way plow. It is alot better than the old Cat 130 we had. You have to be careful to keep the rear chains tight or they will clash (and break cross links)between the tires at higher speeds.
Yeah, they will. If they catch, chain pieces can fling through the window glass... Seen it happen to a co worker. The side windows are sure close to the tires on this machine..... Just a matter of time before one gets whacked... (not by me of course) :-)
nice to see some graders plowin snow! are you just using the maulboard or do you have a flanger on to? seems like alot of snow for just a maulboard haha thanks for the video
Yeah, the chains are noisey... The mic on the camera is really sensitive... It isn't that bad in reality... This machine is soooo much nicer than the 30 year old one I used to run :-)

Love my John Deere 772G. V plow on front and mastless snow wing. Up here in Manitoba we get lotsa a snow, and I don't mind at all.

is all that rasping noise we hear tire chains? Seems like that would be REALLY annoying after about 2 min.
