@JeSwagBoy take a tooth pick and at the back of ur router should be a tiny reset button, take the tooth pick and press the button, hold it for about 5 seconds, let it restrt, it should be good

There should be a reset button on the router. Just hold down the reset button for 15-30 seconds and then let go. It should then reset your password so you can use admin admin to get into the router settings.

Worked for me on the first try....only thing you didnt say was that you have to reset your modem after you make the changes otherwise it says there is an internet connection problem...maybe that is an isolated thing but I would think after changing major settings like that almost everyone would have to reset said modem. I had the same problem as a few of the guys, my NAT settings have turned to Strict after this and I have made sure I followed each step correctly. Everything has been done according to your video but now I am stuck on Strict... and ideas?

If the password doesn't work it is probably because you already had a set password on

your router. Just hold down the reset button for 10seconds and then try typing admin for username

and admin for password.

okay i did all that and it made my nat open. but it wouldnt find a game on mw2 it would just keep searching and searching for like 5 mins then say cant connect. so i went back and undid all the stuff on the lynksys site. and it finds games in 10 seconds now but my nat is moderate again. any idea why this is and if it can be fixed? help please

This didn't work for me. I tried it, and then after I tried signing to live it wouldn't let me. Then I got in, then it disconnected me. This kept happening over and over again until finally I got back onto my router settings and turned UPNP off. My NAT type is still strict.
