I think it's supposed to be a symbol for "pragmatic anarchism", and I think it was created by confederalsocialist. It's a new thing with little to no baggage attached and it looks neat, so I figured I might use it.

You could also call it "anarchism without adjectives" or "emergent anarchism". It describes the opinion that solutions to existing problems in a stateless society will be found in an emergent, trial-and-error, market-based fashion.

To make things easier, one should probably call it a symbol for anti-statism.

ah, yes. i'm very much a fan of "anarchism without adjectives" and the emergent/spontaneous order idea. that's why i call myself an anarchist and not anarcho-whatever. i just happen to think a free society would function like a free market. but in a truly free society there's nothing stopping groups from forming communes if they so wish or whatever.

I called my WoW character Sphairon. It was a gnome, and since gnomes look like cuddly balls, a friend suggested to use the Greek word "sphaira" which means orb or ball. I did and added a male suffix - Sphairon.
