Look heres why Goku would win...for one, hes a much better fighter. For two hes power alone can destroy planets, for there he can teleport Superman to a planet with a red sun. What the hell are y'all talking about? This isn't Yamcha vs Supes, this is Goku. Remember how Frieza destroyed an entire planet Vegeta with energy from just one finger, without even powering up? Super Saiyan is way stronger than that. SSJ3? Transformation alone almost cracked the planet in half.

Nope in DB/Z/GT a higher Ki level does NOT determine physical strength, it determines how fast they can move and what the destructive output of their Ki force and blasts.
Goku struggled to hold up a row of buildings and his greatest Ki blasts have damaged planets but compare that to Pre-Crisis Superman lifting celestial bodies(planets, moons) with sheer ease and flying so fast he almost risked destroying the universe.

Uh...Goku canonically struggled with 40 tons in the Buu saga...Ki does NOT indicate physical strength, Taopaipai only lifted a large man and a stone pole(which he used Ki force to throw the pole with) so it's not a good argument.
Also Supes' feat was in a late Silver-Age comic where Superman had to catch up to a unconscious Supergirl who was stuck flying ridiculously fast, Spectre had to stop Superman and said that if he flew any faster then countless civilizations would die.

That's Ki force, it's not physical strength. Even then the most Ki force ever lifted was a row of buildings and that was Goku at his absolute strongest too at SSJ4, if we compare that to PC Superboy(when he was "weak" compared to his adult self) towing an entire galaxy's planets by a massive chain and not even breaking a sweat over it then it's quite clear who the victor is in a physical strength contest.

Honestly.. it's not really a matter of power. Because sure.. Superman is powerful and stuff but yes Goku was almost at the same level as kid buu. There is also a vital point that a lot of people seem to miss. Superman fights like a chump. He throws clumsy punches and hopes they hit. Goku is a freaking martial artist. First of all, let me say to you that I'm a big DBZ fan and I would want Goku to win but reading trough the comments, I'm certain that the precrisis Superman could use the spiky hair of Goku as a toothpick. But maybe if we make superman as a villain for DBZ series, Goku would definetively have to train for a chance to defeat him, and everytime Goku trained, he became stronger. At the very least it'd be the toughest fight superman would've ever had

OMG No shit its not canon, and thats my point. There are far too many variations between characters to ever have this battle actually happen. I speak japanese. Goku at SS3 is massivelly hypersonic(Thats FEATS not assumptions,which DBZ fans love)Massivelly hypersonic is less than relativistic.Relativistic is 1% of Light Speed.Superman moves thousands of times faster than Light and is capable of reacting and fighting in those speeds.So NO,Goku in SSJ 50000 wouldnt be faster than Superman at his peak.

Look heres why Goku would win...for one, hes a much better fighter. For two hes power alone can destroy planets, for there he can teleport Superman to a planet with a red sun. Also, every energy blast he shoots hits like a meta human punch, his own physicality is based on training and not alien biology luck. however pushing back a full power energy blast with the power to destroy planets, moons and stars should be sufficient. Plus, Superman always stands there and takes attacks.

@teztiment There is a reason Superman stands there and takes a beating,its called PIS.Its what writers use to make fights more interesting and to enable weaker characters to fight with much stronger characters.It is the reason why Flash gets kicked around by peak humans,it is the reason why IronMan can fight with the Silver Surfer adn it is the reason why Superman stands there and takes beatings when he could easily speedblitz them with his FTL movement and planet destroying punches.

When it comes to fictional fight debates,PIS is eliminated and both characters fight to their best.Gokus best would be SS3 and using planet destroying attacks.Considering Superman has Galaxy level durability and speed far to great for Goku to ever catch up,thats not going to be a problem.
Superman at his best means he will attack Goku FTL at the begining of the fight and strike with all his power.Goku cant handle that kind of speed and strenght

Broly never destroyed galaxies, in the Japanese scripts it said nothing of that sort. The Enlgish dub by Funimation are the ones that put in the line about him destroying a galaxy.

The fact is,the HIGHEST strenght feat DBZ has is the non canon GT feat where Goku BARELY lifted a city block.
The highest speed feat is Gotenks flying around the world.
Highest destructive feat is planet destroying,no one has EVER done more or shown any indication that they coudl do more than that.Cell saying he can destroy the Solar system is hyperbole,it like me saying im so hungry i could eat a horse,IM NOT GONNA EAT A FREAKING HORSE.
Sups has done those feats in his sleep,Goku is outmatched.

@znjfl I agree with most of the things you say, but we all know goku can lift more then a city block. On his way to namek he trained in 100 times gravity, and at the end of dbz he was a thousand times stronger. And for the destructive feat: indeed the best we have seen is a planet, however buu destroyed a planet with a simple energy blast using no time charging up the attack. Besides the area the attack covers does not matter. what matters is the power of the attack.

However even if you take Gokus highest feat,lets take strenght for example.
Take that city block lifting feat and multiply it by one million,it will still be nowhere NEAR Supermans average showings.
And by the way Goku AFTER Namek Saga couldnt even support 40 tons,he had to turn SS1 to handle 40 tons.DBZ has never been to powerfull in strenght,there power is energy blasts.

@animalx9 I never trained he wasnt trained by other martial artists,i know those thing,ive read the manga and watched the anime.No one is arguing the fact that Goku is a martial artist,the fact remains after all his training his figthing style still consists of punches,kick and dodges,thats it.Superman has utilized grappling,preassure points,takedowns,boxing,kicking,basicly MMA.

He did NOT shake the entire universe, he shook the planet and even then it was for a few mins. Goku doesn't effortlessly take planet destroying blasts seeing as how the after damage of all most of his enemies attacks only seem to blow up mountains ranges .
Superman doesn't ALWAYS just sit there and take attacks, he dodges and blocks like in his fights against Darkseid and Mongul.

@BurningNoheart7 They only destroy mountains because he limits his power in battle to not endanger the planet(do research, for example Weakling normal Vegata blew up a planet and a moon with one hand because he wanted too) and Supes doesn't do that with Darkseid and Mongul because they have kicked his ass before. Hell Wonderwoman even threw him a beating because she has better martial skills.

I don't see why this is even an argument. Superman is a badass I will give him that, but Frezza destroyed a mountain with a twinkle in his eye. And Goku kicked his ass. American comics can not compair to the unlimited power of the Goku comics. Sorry Superman fans but krilin could kill superman. Plus Superman has a few weaknesses Goku has none. A little piece of rock makes superman a regular dude. That is sad. And don't get him near a red sun that is too much for superman.

Yes, I base all my sayings on the cartoon, because I don't read the comics, but, based on the cartoon, superman is easily knocked over comparted to DBZ (see how cell IGNORES destructodiscs, discs which could easily cut a mountain - and gohan beat him up).

@TheBlackSin I have to admit i cant rly remember all the feats of Vegito but from what i do remember he could at least give trouble to the current Superman.Pre Crisis Superman however is another story.That dude destroyed a galaxy by sneazing.But Pre Crisis characters where infamous for being highly overpowered,thats why they made the whole Crisis on Infinite Earths.
