@Jeroenoman I think Robert Carlyle was great as Hitler because he portrayed Hitler in a very intresting way. Sure they could have gotten an actor who looked more like the real deal but Carlyle really portrayed Hitler in a very colorful way which made it entertaining to watch.

@deenman23 Because those people are sick or have had a horrible upbringing. They didn't actively choose to enjoy watching others suffer, so if anything, it's tragic, not evil. But for all intents and purposes it can still be labelled as evil as the consequences of such behaviour is pain and sorrow. I'm not saying that there is no right and wrong in a consequential context, I'm just saying that there are too many nuances in human behaviour to divide everything into good and evil.

@Jeroenoman I think Robert Carlyle was great as Hitler because he portrayed Hitler in a very intresting way. Sure they could have gotten an actor who looked more like the real deal but Carlyle really portrayed Hitler in a very colorful way which made it entertaining to watch.

But for all intents and purposes it can still be labelled as evil as the consequences of such behaviour is pain and sorrow. I'm not saying that there is no right and wrong in a consequential context, I'm just saying that there are too many nuances in human behaviour to divide everything into good and evil.

@deenman23 I'll give an example: A mentally sick person kidnaps a mother and a child and tells the mother: "You're going to torture your child to death, otherwise I will torture 1,000 other children to death in an even more gruesome way". From the parent's point of view, torturing her child to death is wrong regardless of the circumstances, but from a neutral point of view, not torturing her child to death is wrong because the suffering is minimal compared to the alternative. What I'm trying to say is that I think that the concept right and wrong is a human invention, not a divine one, I don't think actions that by humans are labelled "bad" causes some kind of disturbances in the "goodness force" in nature, the only bad consequences are those that humans suffer. But of course I know how to distinguish certain actions as bad because of the consequences, I don't think that your sense of right and wrong differs very greatly from mine.

If I were to go to Africa, yes, I would hope that everyone could respect the indigenous people. The same should be a two-way street, but it is not.

Not Jewish propaganda. Simple thoughts, rage that can wake someone or blind them. He wasn't a great mind...he was very primitive, and sometimes it's the superficial collective buzz that grabs our attention and support. Hitler shook away the great minds or killed them. Conformity, certainty for your service is not even a mind, but a lack of one.
But hollywood IS petty silly for people to believe in. And Hitler has become the poster boy of things...there's so much more to it.
