wow man i can't believe u removed the centre brace like that, did u really think that is was a useless bit of plastic that just seems to be in the way lol?? Has your tank burst open yet from the internal pressure minus structural strength now thanks to your handy work in fitting an overkill filter to a tank it doesn't fit, and for obvious reason?? No wonder u had to cut out your centre brace because that tank wasn't intended to have to fit such a large filter in the first place.... silly
Nice This Aqua Filter is actually powerful enough for a 150 Gallon aquarium. the numbers 110 are for dummies. If you compare the amount of Gallons it pumps. This Filter can compare to a Marineland Canister C-530. The Aqua Clear 110 is almost as powerful as that canister and its cheaper. Canisters are a rip off lol.
I have 2 aqua clear 110 filters and a rena xp2 cannister filter on my 75 gallon aquarium. I think these are great filters, that's just my opinion. That 110 on that 28 gallon will make it crystal clear. I wouldn't of removed that center brace from your aquarium, though.
@MrIAN1077 Wow thats impressive you are over doing it with Filtration lol. But thats good. Rena canisters aren't that good. But just one Aqua Clear 110 would be enough to keep ur 75 gallon clean. I run just one of these puppies on a 150 I have. Its powerful enough to keep the water crystal Clear.
@DgosFinnest You run only 1 aqua clear 110 on your 150 and it keeps it clear. That's awesome . I know that Rena's aren't the best , but it was free. On my list to get is a Fluval 405 cannister filter. This will replace the Rena. As we all know that oscars are messy fish....lol....I have 2 albino oscars and the tank has to be taken care of more.
@1Rockyboxer1 Yes this filter is nice, there is a lot of room inside, i have inside the foam insert and the tri base carbon, and i used right now bacteria to start the bacteria, and i have the return water shoot across the surface
unfortunately the manufactures always blow the GPH way over what it really is. I just ordered the AC 110 for my 90 to go along with my Fluval 405. I'm going to scrap my 50 and save it for when I get another tank a smaller one 20 or 29
Great filter I have the 50 and I plan on getting the 110...But I know they say you can never have enough filtration..but that 110 will blow your fish out in a 29. The 110 is extremely powerful, don't you think? Did you cycle the tank?
@funnyjew It would seem like it would be way to much filtration but, the current isnt really bad at all. I think its just right. It's a 28 gallon aquarium, and this is for 60-110. so cut that in half, and its really a 30-55 gallon filter. In later videos you can see how much current their is and judge your self :)
