I completely agree Lenny when just talking in an interview is a genuinly funny and interesting guy but his stand up routine is pretty standard fare he is stil unique as britains only recognised black comedien but his humour is still based on the child of immigratnts and his experiances therin, mixed with some awful impersonations (beyonce,50 cent)it hasnt matured along with him, what was funny a hell then isnt realy funny now.
I kind of thought the 50 Cent impression was perfect, it's only the material that wasn't great. However, the Beyonce impression made me want to hurl! God Awful! but his Jay-Z was not all that bad- Off and on. I did get a chuckle from the idea of that Snoop Dog impression (drop it like it's hot video.) It was a rebuking to you saying I must have written his Gags, so I think you may want to rethink what you last wrote there.Your jibes are in any way intimidating to me. I have no interest whatsoever in knowing you, all I did was offer an opposing view on Lenny Henry, whom I happen to think is one of the funniest Comedians around (and as hes so successful for some decades now, obviously Millions out there would agree with me). If you dont like him, fine, you dont have to.

I never said you wrote his gags, I explained that you could not have become a millionaire by doing so. Neither do I wish to intimidate anyone, but I'll not allow personal jibes to go unchallenged.

His humour is quite gentle compared to modern comedy. modern comedy is brash, nasty and offensive.
Lenny's humour is very old school. But i prefer old school humour.

Okay...Lenny Henry is my favorite personality but I don't understand what is funny about this humour...seriously he is more loud than funny. actually there was no funny (maybe I don't understand) here. He can be quite funny once in a while. by the ways...Does anybody remember the movie True Identity? Why are there no youtube clips of this film? Lenny Henry was in his prime then.

I completely agree Lenny when just talking in an interview is a genuinly funny and interesting guy but his stand up routine is pretty standard fare he is stil unique as britains only recognised black comedien but his humour is still based on the child of immigratnts and his experiances therin, mixed with some awful impersonations (beyonce,50 cent)it hasnt matured along with him, what was funny a hell then isnt realy funny now.

I kind of thought the 50 Cent impression was perfect, it's only the material that wasn't great. However, the Beyonce impression made me want to hurl! God Awful! but his Jay-Z was not all that bad- Off and on. I did get a chuckle from the idea of that Snoop Dog impression (drop it like it's hot video.) I have never died laughing while watching Lenny Henry. I do consider myself a fan but not of his humor...just his personality. I like the guy! Although, needs a better writer for his material.

Lenny's mom was awesome and such a loved lady.. very missed. Dudley is brill and its inhabitants are pricelss! I had 5 funerals in one year once and I get this LOL Made me cry with laughter!
