My Father, two uncles and their cousin fought there with the 65th Infantry. There were many outposts like that since Korea was a battle for the hills. I hope this film includes at least one mention or veteran of that unit, one of the first infantry combat regiments sent in. And these were men who had never experienced temperatures lower than 68F. Their cousin came back to be in a wheel chair the rest of his life. I recommend also, "The Borinqueneers".
If you can watch this video, especially the final 2 minutes, and not get choked up and sit it awe of the sacrifice made by every single combat veteran this country has been fortunate enough to have....you are not an American. I knew nothing of this battle until I saw a vimeo video where an old vet was talking about it. Pretty sad that this isn't something most Americans know about. For all living vets of Outpost Harry I can only think of two words....thank you.
