I never thought of the maximum load thing. probably why we have so many fairs in the US that suck. While some states have fairs with better rides, as different states have different load requirements. We do not allow tripple trailor trucks in Michigan, as other states do. I wonder how Michigan's Adventure gets around those laws. they have to get those big rides there somehow.

The theme park near me, Six Flags St. Louis is installing one and will open sometime in May, 2011. It will be 236 ft tall and will spin at 43 mph. I can't wait :)

The problem in the USA is the maximum load of trucks. Here may load a lot more tons at a truck then in the USA. So you can never get a big machine on the road

Is a pity for you there over the sea maybe can Obama do something about that :)

We actually have some huge carnival rides here in the U.S. One show has a Bussink Wheel that travels on 17 trailers. Michael Wood owns a Mondial Shake and Tivoli Remix. Jim Bishop owns a KMG Tango, Fabbri Evolution, and Zamperla Sky Flyer.
