@Imagewicked He froze the frame, but the video still looked like the cameraman was moving using the wiggle expressions on position and rotation. You can also see a bit of a keying mistake when his hand comes out. Look at the very bottom of the device.

Good job!

If you want to take this a step further, here are some hints:

- The quality of the elements is way better than your footage (0:22).

- Make the effects cast shadows on the footage. especially the cloud

- The white cable disappears...

- The button-thing looks amateuristic. Try rotoscoping the hand and the phone (0:12). The fake dept of field is way too fast.

- Learn some color-grading. It will improve the shot. But don't overdo it :-)

@MrChyves A decent keyed footage is always better than rotoscoping. I'm not saying that this is a good key, but going through every single frame is a really time consuming process. If you don't believe me, look up my video called "My Arm is made of Glass". I used a pretty bad green screen for the keying, but I was lucky and got a nice and clean result. Rotoscoping everything would take hours :P

Ohoho, this was really good! Search for a good edited car explosion (found many bad ones) but this is very good. The chroma keying with your hand was bob-bob, but hey, i'm shure you could do it better.

How much time did you spend on the explosion? Any good tutorials recommended?

@freefallproductions3 i simply desaturated it and made it really dark + some fire elements in the windows. that's it ;-) and it doesn't have 100 opacity so it looks like it's inside of the smoke (this makes it look even darker)

the car exploding was one of the best I've seen on youtube so far, but your green screened hand could have been a bit better. You went a bit tight on the mask, cutting off too much info and making all the corners look too rounded. Other than that, I loved that we were guessing which car it was going to be in the beginning.
