For the morons... It's Hannya mask from Japanese "Ho" Theater, which has been performed for the last 1000 years. It's a rendition of a demon god used for protection and it looks much better than the tats I've seen done by complete amateurs in a kitchen (who happen to have left their comments below).

Im far from close minded,im a concept artist and EX tattoo artist,i use to paint these monstrosities on people for 2 years of my life,i got to understand the demographic of people that tattoos appeal to,and the majority of them get a tattoo because they think it looks cool, and whats cool or isnt cool just comes down to that persons perceptions. A guy got me to tattoo a devil on his chest,he must of thought it was real cool,i did it and the whole time i was thinking "your nuts"

@mrswartz back doesnt hurt to much and your sleeve will hurt abit on the inside of your arm (bicep area) have both done myself. You will find there will be places that you dont even feel at all then others will be abit painful but isnt bad enough you cant get thru it

Ive got full sleeve back chest stomach and started on other sleeve, honestly the pain isnt as bad as people make it out to be. It will hurt a little bit and in some places will be abit horrible but its totally worth it and as soon as they stop doing that line the pain goes
