One of the best comedians EVER in my opinion, and Im a stand up from England (home aof the best currently) and Mitch Hedberg is an insiration to one liner comics liike myself, that are not blessed with the greatest confidence on stage but are endearing and truly talented. Mitch got to do a job that he loved and that complimented his hobo inclinations. He often spoke of how strange it was that TV networks would take comedians and try to turn them into actors or talk show hosts.

Chris Farley and John Belushi died with Chris Farley fighting a TV station to get a comedy special presented in that manner that he wanted and John Belushi fighting to get out of a movie obligation that he didn't wan't to do, respectively.

I'd take Mitch's life, any day.

Yes, the definition of transient is someone who lives only temporarily in one place.

Mitch and his wife stayed in hotels that you will never even walk outside of in your life, and usually on a club owner or college's tab. They also had a beautiful home outside of Los Angeles that they bought cash, paid the taxes on and barely lived in.

Mitch got to see a lot of the big pretty world that lives outside of your parent's basement.

Actually, he had severe stage fright, to the point that during early shows he would perform with his back toward the audience. Drugs certainly played a part in some of his on-stage mannerisms, but seriously...check your facts before saying something as blatantly false as "he didn't have stage fright haha." It's not a joke; he struggled with it and for the most part overcame it admirably.
