This is kind of Gipsy song showing the dream what common people are looking for, nothing to do with Spanish guitar stytle, hopefully you understand I mean as a Taiwanese. It's just a Taiwanese folk song during 1980s.
Of course, this song has been influenced by the western folk songs. Especially, many young Taiwan college students usually listened to the pop songs from American since 1960s & 1970s. Wish you could read Chinese well ASAP. ^^
Have anyone heard 靳鐵章 (original composer) singing this song? I have...back to my college year...I fell in love with this song when hearing him singing in the classroom before it was published! He was very talented but just didn't have the luck to publish his own album!

李建復被翻唱過的歌很多，但是有一共同特色--沒人唱的比他有味道。就以"龍的傳人"為例，費玉清詮釋簡直是不忍卒聽，花腔的很虛偽。
李建復太正派了，他乖到讓你很難想像，這世上怎會有如此善良純正之人，以致於即便詮釋愛國歌曲都不會讓人八股，很不容易。所以與蔡琴合唱的"一千個春天"，還真是情歌絕版呀! 小復，開個演唱會吧，你的粉絲數目遠超乎你的想像。

說得真是太精確了!! 沒有人可以把李建復主唱過的歌曲詮釋得像他如此貼切. 殷正洋和費玉清雖然歌喉都不錯, 但是沒人可以像李建復, 把這些歌曲唱得有那種"蕩氣迴腸"的味道, 我也很期待他開個唱!!!

This song is really nice, i study chinese hopefully will be able to understand soon.
Though i have heard in several chinese songs this influence of spanish guitar, and a feeling of outback western style, is there a reason for that ?

我第一次聽到這首歌，是在十歲那年，在我阿姨的車上tape聽到的。這張專輯最有名的，當然就是龍的傳人...
整整三十年...這張專輯裡面的所有曲子，對我來說，只有李建復唱的才是原版...
