If you talk about touchscreens and are about naming all specs anyway you should say whether it's capacitive or resistive. AFAIK this is Nokia's first cap screen device? Cap screen also adds to the price.

The N900 is a lot larger than this phone, but I think the phones announced today are going to be last generation of phones with Symbian, I think as a whole the company is going to go over maemo as their os, now that google is putting out more android based phones, and the iphone has such a huge market share. Maemo if it goes across a good bit of phone from Nokia, it will shake things up quite a bit. However this is an interesting phone.

I agree that the price is just too high. They are selling a mid range phone at a high end price. Though it's worth noting that the new capacitive screen, the included large head phones and the "comes with music" bundle pump the price up. Still it's going to be a hard sell considering that at 50 euros more you can get the n900.
