This is one of the better performances I've seen with Arnel Pineda. He sounds more natural and not trying to copy Steve Perry. I'd like Journey to continue with this type of performances. It's much, much better when Arnel sings with his natural voice.

@mariahmcallister Hahahahaha!!!! so, I checked out several videos of this Jason guy. My professional verdict? Jason is not even near the gift of Arnel. Jason actually manipulates his voice to make it sound higher than it actually is. He mixes in "Falsetto" or "head voice". He doesn't sing full blast chest voice like Arnel. I'm a lead singer myself here in Seattle. Trust me, I know. Arnel is just like Adam Lambert. They're out of this world gifted singers. They're the template for us

@RURSVP I know the truth hurts. Most American singers can only hit the high notes by using falsetto. That's a fact. The only reason why you'd be offended was if you're one of the "falsetto" singers. I was simply comparing the two because one lady said to "check him out, he's really awesome" lining him up with Arnel. Pssh.. you're probably the biggest fan of Bono (U2) also, the falsetto king.

Journey can't bring back someone who has never wanted to come back. Neil invited Steve to come out and perform with them in the summer of 2005 during the 2005 walk of fame which is on video. Steve Perry made it clear he had no intentions of returning to Journey when Steve Augeri and Jeff Soto left.

Arnel Pineda, YOU ARE A CLASS ACT. I love Steve Perry and he deserves to hear great words from a member of Journey speaking of him in a great way. I have been watching Arnel since he joined Journey. Saw them in Hershey Pa last year and going to see them in Baltimore in 4 days. Can't wait. I would like to see Steve Perry come out and say how great Arnel Pineda is honoring his music. Arnel also deserves to hear those words from his hero. Steve may be too proud to admit how good Arnel is.
