  • how do these tires do in the mud?im thinking about getting a set of 35's but idk how they do

  • I might be getting BFG all terrain mudders! whats better goodyear or BFG? And does goodyear make mudders just curious?

  • BFG all-terrains are not, by any means, mudders. If you mean the KM2's, then those are mudders. BFG A/T's suck in mud or even wet dirt. Great on road and dry dirt though

Don't buy Goodyears. If you want mud tires, buy Cooper STT

  • @cnocher02 yea all that i want is a street legal car with at least 32's and can go in mud sand and road so what tires would i get then and what the heck are cooper STT i'm not really fast with tires

  • The Cooper STT's are a great M/T. They are good on road too, and not very expensive. I've got 31's on my Blazer and am very pleased with them. They should last a while too.

  • @cnocher02 and will 31's fit on 15 inch rims? and again sand at all can they go on sand?

  • Yes, they have a few different sizes on 15 inch rim. Go to coopertire(dot)com. They will go in sand, but they aren't the best since they're a M/T, but they're not bad.

  • hell ive had BFG A/T's i went through the same mud holes as my buddies went thru in M/T's never got stuck hell i drove thru a blizzad in them in CO about 3 yrs ago in them and never had a prob no chains

  • @csnrs1 lol that doesnt say alot for the tire. maybe what your buddies were goin threw wasnt to tuff. i run 38in super swampers and welcome people with a/ts to follow me threw the mud. Not hating on the bfg a/ts have them on my 95 2 door tahoe about 15k on them and still have all the nipples love em abd they look good.

  • @fourxxwhat Well, let's watch that IFS play in rock like an SA no matter what the tire; that ain't happening.

  • I agree the cooper STT is a very good tire but wear out to fast my buddy had them for a year before he had to buy another set of tires

  • Strange. I've had them for 10k and haven't noticed really any wear at all

  • who knows but like i said they are still good tires but i still prefer the BFG's mainly cause i need something that will last me a while tires just keep going up but like i said both bfg and cooper stt are good tires

  • @csnrs1 Yup, yup. I like the KM2's as well

  • u should go with the GOODYEAR MTRs i have them on my blazer and they are 33s best tire i have ever owned i had the kevlar and they sucked just the orignal MTRs are the best

  • God i cant wait ti run moab. Im startin to think my 98 tahoe 4dr 4x4 wont hack it tho. Im lookin for a nice set of tires and shopping online in iraq just isnt working. If you can suggest a good set of tires to fit on my 17x8 wheels then tell me lol.

  • Loralee--I assume you were driving a Farabee Jeep in Moab. Just curious: What psi were you running? What trail conditions/weather? What tire size are you used to for the BFG's/old MTR's? This new tread took some getting used to--I find I use the edges and sidewalls a LOT more than on other tires--very cool, but different driving style. And I run a lower psi.

  • I thought they sucked in moab. The old mt/r and bfg m/t are much better on the rocks
