@coxy0n360 The only reason they get 180hp out of a 1.4 is because of the turbocharger(s). It's the ONLY reason these tiny 4 cyilinders are getting this much power nowadays. They companies just slap a couple of tiny turbos on it off the line. Remember, it's not what emblem is on the car that makes difference (usually), it's what has been done to the engine.

Highly doubt a SRT8 engine can be bored to a 9.4 though.

@keeevan yes but believe me, 2 litre 1000hp engines are the ones that break most on the drag strip. Turbos with pressure numbers, that come directly from hell, are junk. BTW: 9.4 Litres is too much for only 1.000 hp? Yes, maybe, but you can get out even more and the engine won't break after 2 metres.

@DodgeChallenger426 no arguments there. i like smaller engines as they respond much faster regardless of power but i agree i wouldnt feel as safe putting my foot down run after run with 1000hp with a small displacement motor. rotory is another story <3

@keeevan Its not too much to ask if you dont even want to make it to the 1/4 mark. A real car with a 2L engine wouldnt handle 1k hp. If it did, it would be alot more brief than 10 seconds.

@320bit haha thats funny u dont know about drag the 4g63 (evo motor) is a 2 liter inline 4 and theres some with 1200 whp and it can run all day the 2jz (supra motor) is a 3l inline 6 and most powerful street legal 2jz has 1772 hp and the most powerful 2jz of all has 2500 with 100+ psi and there more reliable then v8's too get ur facts straight before diss motors u dont know about

@BIHxJDMxSUPRA An inline 6 and an inline 4 are very different in terms of power output and reliability. Although it will vary from motor to motor, but inline 6 produce smoother power with more torque than a 4 cylinder. 2L and 3L are worlds apart. Thats a whole honda civic apart!
