  • Nice

  • Surround Fascination CD ?

  • how does this have only 5000 views

  • That was pretty awesome!

  • some tasty compositing! Talc works so well

  • that's a powerful rifle

  • this is great, i couldnt believe tht was det films stuff! only thing is the barret doesnt need to be cocked after each shot as it is semi auto

  • Did he wave the card towards you or away from you? Unfortunately i do not have $1000 U.S. Dollars but i wish haha. I really enjoy your short films and am looking forward to newer productions!

  • MZinCamo@ he was standing just out of frame, he waved the card down on top of me, at the ground just in front of the Barrett barrel. $1000 = Australian dollars. Check out hapMoriarty and Heavily Armed Productions on youtube and vimeo.

  • @hapBarracudA thanks a bunch I am starting to make a barrett now thank you so much for your advice on the talcum powder I never would have thought of that!

  • Ok, what did you make the barrett out of? Also, how did you incorporate talcum powder? I really enjoyed Sol-3 btw.

  • Barrett is made of metal pipes, junk, plastic bits and bobs, gun bi-pod, paint job. Incorporated talcum by sprinkling over ground, then each time I shot hapMoriarty waved big card at ground, gives impression of Barrett shockwave on ground. The bullet hits on wall + ground + people, are ALL detonation films elements. Talcum powder was only used on the ground for Barrett blast shockwave ;-) Glad you liked Sol-3, made in 2004 for $1000 Aust. You should see what we're up to now!

  • That was simply AMAZING! I like how you blended the Detonation Films blood and bullet impacts, and also where did you get the Barrett?

  • It was all simply composited in Final Cut Pro, using different "compositing modes". I modified the Detonation films blood elements to fit the shots, usually by resizing and rotating the angle. The dust elements are half detonation films and half taucum powder. As for the SCI-FI version of a BARRETT .50cal... I MADE IT!! cool hey!?! I made plenty of other guns too. Check out hapMoriarty and Heavily Armed Productions on youtube!
