@pyrofella .I hope this posts this time. I would certainly expect they are. I have been to the POW Camp out your way was very much moved. I also like the hologram presentation very much. Bye for Now HANK
@HanksterOz - thanks Mate.. I was talking to one of the original "Letterheads" who helped on these murals - last week - He said that several of them are now gone.. the buildings have either been demolished or renovated... There are still a few left he said... I hope so - cheers - Dallas
Hi Dallas, Thanks for you information. Good old OZ, wack on a preservation order and let the joint fall down. Why don't we promote a regions strong points & promote the towns. Oh well one offers wonder about this place. I can only wonder what the Yanks would do for a place like Portland & Cowra, truely historic towns of rural NSW. Best Wishes. Hank
you knew when you where getting close to Tamworth back in the 70's when you could pick up 2TM on the radio an they were sure to play Red Back On The Toliet Seat
WoOoO!! The painting of the redback, man i see it everyday, same with all of them, just the other day i spewed me guts up right near the redback painting lol!
I had this song when I was a kid and it was on an EP which had a couple of other
Slim Newton songs I liked but have not heard since. I think one was called 'A pint of water in a jerry can' another one I think was called 'If you want to get something out of this life you've got to put something into it first' and the other was'Something seems to tell me that it's over'
I think I'm pretty close with the titles, just wondered if you had them.
Thanks so much for your comment. I DO NOT have the tracks which you requested, I will try and track them down. Slim did record for Hadley Records, very poor dist. I have just had another thought, bit of a worry, Slim did 'What Is It That's [bleeping]This Country. Ummmmmm got a few ideas for a video to match it. Give me a week or so I'll get back to you. Hank
Thanks mate. I have searched for the songs I mentioned for years, can you imagine the looks I get when I visited JB HI FI and asked them? I don't even know if Slim Newton is still with us.
hahaha
very funny

Love the artwork - I live at Cowra - not that far away really -- I will make an effort to visit - are they all still there?
