I won't go into "that's wrong that's right" kind of talk, I know it changed some lives that would otherwise be unchanged. The point is that their forray into secular music world was intentional not incidental.

I agree about Grant, but not so much Smith, and for the most part the criticism of Smith came from the fringes of the church.

I have no basis to determine anyone's intentions, only to observe their actions. Grant's flirtatious Mtv videos are enough to make the case there, but it takes more than releasing with a major label to have me conclude that someone's selling out.

Content wise Go West Young Man was not a departure from an album like The Big Picture.
