Being that you are viewing anything from 5 to 15 sq feet of ocean bottom. This is not the entire sea floor. This could be nothing more than rovers popping pimples of methane trapped in the sand around the wells. In turn what we see is smaller than a VW bug. Compared to the equipment and ocean floor size, this is but a pimple.

unbeknownst to the majority of Americans, BP hit an oil batholith..pressurized by natural gas. now that the batholith has been breached in order to get to the oil, the domino affect is apparent. as a result of the rupture, fissures have been created (leaking oil and gas)..to add, crustal displacement is also a result by the release of the oil and gas. nothing but bad news here folks. epa says that corexit was ok to use..killing everything in its path..next they'll say the fish are ok to eat.
