@iphone3gsdivine I can't give ya #'s. but when ya pull the loop from the sides outwards, the tag end pulls thru before the knot snaps. but that's pulling it fromthe sides, which is not normal for fishing conditions. But to me that says the shorter you make the loop the bigger the risk of the knot slipping.

this knot doesn't cinch down to the lure... it's a good knot but not for fishing

That is the idea. It allows the lure to be free and therefore have a better action in the water

Haha that's pretty funny I never seen someone do a translation to their comment. But to the subject at hand, this not is best for Jigs, or making a jig rig. But that's for regular fishing, it has a different purpose for Fly fishing.
